From the first assessment to the nutrition plan
Every programme starts by listening. Before writing any nutrition plan it is essential to know the person: their history, their state of health, their eating habits, their level of physical activity, any blood test results and the goals they want to reach.
Every programme starts by listening to the person
From the first assessment to the nutrition plan, with periodic check-ups to track progress and adapt the programme to the results.
Listening
Full history: clinical, family, nutritional and sporting. Weight history and training history.
Assessment
Anthropometric assessment and body composition study with circumference measurement and BIA/BIVA.
Plan
A personalised plan built on habits, schedule, lifestyle, goals and type of training.
Check-ups
We track progress, assess the changes and adapt the programme.
Success is not the number on the scale
FM
fat mass
FFM
fat-free mass
TBW
total body water
BMR
basal metabolic rate
Bioelectrical impedance shows how the body is actually changing, telling fat loss apart from any loss of lean mass.

The first consultation
The programme starts with a thorough first consultation in which I collect all the information I need:
- full history (clinical, family, nutritional and sporting)
- weight history
- training history
- anthropometric assessment
- body composition study with vectorial bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA/BIVA)
Building the nutrition plan
I look at fat-free mass, fat mass, hydration status, basal metabolism and energy needs in order to build a plan that is genuinely tailored to you.
Based on the information collected I write a personalised, practical and balanced nutrition plan, designed to fit into the person's daily life.
The plan is built taking into account:
- your habits
- your working hours
- your lifestyle
- any physiological or diagnosed medical conditions
- your goals
- the type of training you do
Personalised sports nutrition for athletes
Sports nutrition is a key element in improving performance, endurance and recovery.
Every nutrition strategy is designed to provide the right energy intake, optimise body composition and support metabolism through the different phases of the season. Food becomes a concrete tool to make the most of the work done and to prevent drops in performance.
For those who play sport, the plan is structured around:
- training phase
- preparation
- competition day
- recovery
- rest day
Targeted supplementation
Where needed, a sports nutrition programme can include a personalised supplementation plan, based on the athlete's specific needs and performance goals.
I would also stress that supplements do not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Periodic check-ups and progress tracking
The programme does not end when the personalised plan is handed over. Periodic check-ups are essential to track progress, assess the results and make any changes the plan needs.
At each check-up we look at how weight is moving, at body composition and at how the plan is being followed, working on specific points to get past any difficulty. Every stage of life, and every change in physical activity or lifestyle, calls for its own adjustments.
My aim is to offer you continuous nutritional support, step by step, towards results that are real, healthy and sustainable over time.
Body composition study and anthropometric assessment
In my approach I give great weight to the quality of the change in the body, not only to the number on the scale. With professional tools such as bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) I carry out an accurate assessment of body composition, so that progress can be judged objectively.
In particular I track key parameters such as fat mass, fat-free mass, muscle mass, hydration status and how body recomposition is going.
Body recomposition
The goal of an effective nutrition programme is not simply to "weigh less", but to improve body composition in a balanced and lasting way. Working on body recomposition means reducing fat mass, preserving or increasing muscle mass and supporting metabolism.
Through constant monitoring and a personalised nutrition plan I accompany you towards a change that is informed, healthy and sustainable over time, aimed at real wellbeing and not only at how you look.
With circumference measurements and bioelectrical impedance I assess precisely:
- fat mass
- muscle mass
- hydration status
- how body recomposition is going
